ShuttleMate respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

Data Linking and Purposes

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, crash reporting) under strict confidentiality to operate the service.

Data Retention

We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and data from within the app or by contacting us.

Account Deletion

You can initiate account deletion from within the app (Profile > Delete Account). After you request deletion, your account enters a scheduled deletion state with a grace period of up to 30 days. During this period, you may reactivate your account from within the app or via the reactivation instructions we provide. When the grace period ends, your account and associated personal information stored in our core systems will be deleted or irreversibly anonymized, except where we are required to retain limited information for legal, regulatory, or security reasons.

Messages you have sent in shared conversations may be retained to preserve conversation history for other participants. Where feasible, we decouple those messages from your profile (e.g., display as “Deleted user” and remove profile links). Media you uploaded may be removed or replaced with placeholders. Subscription/transaction records may be retained in an anonymized form to meet accounting or tax requirements.

If you reactivate within the grace period, your access will be restored and scheduled deletion will be canceled. If reactivation is not completed before the deadline, the deletion becomes final and the account can’t be recovered.

Children's Privacy

ShuttleMate is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Transfers

Primary storage is in Southeast Asia (e.g., Australia, Singapore region). Some processing by our service providers (e.g., authentication, notifications, crash reporting, analytics) may occur in other countries such as the United States or the European Union. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual protections) to protect your information for these transfers.
